The MM series vibration sensor magnets are manufactured by Yekan Company. Yekan produces its Multipurpose Magnets in the MM-180 model. The maximum operating temperature for these magnets is 70°C.

Product description

The MM series vibration sensor magnets, manufactured in Iran by Yekan Company, are also known as Multi-Purpose Magnets. These magnets function as an interface for mounting contact vibration sensors onto the surface of rotating machinery. Yekan currently offers this series in the MM-180 model, as shown in the figure below.

The maximum operating temperature of the MM-180 multipurpose magnet is approximately 70°C. The mounting thread for the MM series is 1/4-28, which should be considered when attaching contact vibration sensors to the magnet.

The MM-180 weighs less than 150 g. Both the mounting base and case are made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance, while the magnet material itself is Neodymium Iron Boron. The MM-180 provides a pull strength of 180 N.

These multipurpose magnets are designed for installing vibration sensors on flat, porous, or non-flat surfaces. Magnet-based mounting is a common method for sensor installation on rotating equipment, as illustrated in the vibrometer example in the figure below.
